Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi is currently on the International Space Station and taking photographs and sharing them on Twitter. Here's my hometown, now free of our epic snows from February and three solid days of rain this past weekend. Needless to say, the rivers look a little off-color. (h/t to dcist.com)

Alas, not all the snow is gone. There are still mounds and mounds of dirty snow at RFK stadium where the city piled it during the storms. It's pretty yucky to look at, and will be draining directly into the Anacostia. Sigh.
